Accessible Design Converts Industrial Unit into Hi-End "Accessible" Model Home
Santa Monica - Accessible Design, California's leading Independent Living Specialist, announces the Grand Opening of its recently retrofitted industrial unit in Santa Monica which replicates an actual "Accessible Home".
Adam Fine, President of Accessible Design, has created a gorgeous home environment (French doors, hardwood flooring and stone in the bathroom) that allows Seniors, the Disabled, and Boomers 50+, to actually view what they can do to their home to make it safer and more handicap accessible.
The Showroom, located in Santa Monica on Stanford Street, has a working elevator, stair lift and bath lift. It showcases an Accessible Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen, and Bathroom, with examples of actual home products and accessories.
Fine has raised the bar for this unique concept augmenting the Showroom with an Art Gallery depicting the work of well-known disabled artists within the Southern California Community.
The showroom also has a beautiful Conference Room Area that is available to the general public (free of charge) to attend a Monthly Lecture Series, or for use by such entities as Association Support Groups, Rehab Departments, or Professional In-services.
The Accessible Design Gallery, Showroom & Conference Center is open Monday - Friday from 10am to 6pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
