ADA Pool Lifts
ADA Pool Accessibility requirements became law on September 15, 2010. This new legislation requires commercial swimming pools to provide a means of access for their pools on or before March 15, 2012. Below are some examples of our favorite ADA Pool Lifts.
The aXs Lift is great for backyard pools. It meets the Americans with Disabilities Act Access Guidelines (ADAAG 2010) and has a 300 lb. lifting capacity. The aXs Lift installs into the pool deck with an anchor, and can be removed for storage in the winter. It rotates 360-degrees and has a 24-volt rechargeable battery. It is made of powder coated stainless steel and aluminum.
The multiLIFT™ is an ADA pool lift platform that provides fixed or removable features in a single design. The multiLift is a versatile pool lift because it can be installed as a fixed or removable lift. The Wheel-A-Way™ option provides easy removal at the end of the season. It has a 350 lb. lifting capacity and can be mounted on the left or right for greater flexibility.
The PAL Portable Aquatic Lift is the industry standard for commercial swimming pool access. It is completely portable and meets the ADA Access Guidelines (ADAAG 2010). With a 300 lb. lifting capacity, it has a 24-volt rechargeable battery and is made of powder coated stainless steel and aluminum. The PAL has a 240-degree rotation and can be easily stored away when not in use.
The Splash Lift is a semi-portable pool lift system that is ideal for facilities that require user-friendly pool access. It meets ADA Guidelines and also comes in Hi/Lo, Spa, and Extended Reach versions. The Extended Reach model has a 300 lb. capacity but all other versions have a 400 lb. lifting capacity. It has a 359-degree rotation, a 24-volt rechargeable battery, and comes in powder coated stainless steel and aluminum.
